Do you know that the refined or filtered oil is harmful to our health?

The regular refined/ filtered oils are extracted using solvents and grinding at high speed, which can generate heat up to 600°C, which destroys the oil's taste and micro nutritional values. Trans fats and bad cholesterol are produced in this process, making them unfit for your heart health. this refined oils mixed with chemical called hexan (petroleum bio-product) which is harmful to our health that causes many diseases I.e high bad cholesterol, fatty leaver, joints pain, high blood pressure, diabetes, pcod, etc. also these oils are colourless, Odorless and flavorless because of the heavy process.

While Wood-Pressed/ Cold Pressed Oil is extracted through pressing and grinding of seeds below a temperature of 30-35°C which is a normal room temperature. It is a traditional method which is slow and time-consuming, however, it retains its natural flavor, aroma, and micro nutritional values which is high in antioxidants, vitamins and contains good fats (HDL) for a healthy heart. Our old people used to use this oil that's why they lived for longer healthy life.

Do u know that the Palm/ Refined oil is banned in many countries.

Many countries in UK and European Union like France, Germany, Itali, denmark, lithuania has banned palm/ refined oil.

Now question is why Indian gov is not putting ban on palm / refined oil?

Answer to this is
1.Refined oil is manufactured by big business houses and gov support them for their business and they have big marketing / advertising budgets.
2. India as a population of 135 cr demand for edible oil is huge and it can’t be full filled with natural seeds oil because production of oils seeds are limited.
3. It may be a plan of medical industry to play with public's health and run hospitals and insurance companies business.

Why cold / wood pressed oil is expensive?

Simple calculation let's say today's groundnuts wholesale price is 100 Rs kg and to extract 1 ltr oil it's requires 2.5 kg good groundnuts because best groundnuts will have 30-35% oil percentage in it, So 2.5 kg groundnuts costing us around 250 Rs then add electricity, labor, rent, bottling, labeling, packing, which comes around 285 Rs the basic cost.
However it's not expensive if your monthly uses for oil is 3 ltr per month then this oil you will require only 2ltr reason behind Wood pressed oil is crushed hence thickness of the oil is more when you heat this oil it expands so let's say if you use 3 ltr refined oil in a month for whole family whereas you may use 2 ltr oil in a month, Expenses wise it will be same and also you will live a healthy life.

Opportunity for the local economy.

The report says that the declining market share of soy and palm/ refined oil, the demand for rapeseed for cold pressed oil will rise. This would be a boost for the local economy – from rapeseed farmers to the local cold pressed oil industry.
